General Studio Information
Where are we located?
The Vertitude Santa Rosa is located at 1426 Mendocino Ave. in Santa Rosa, CA. Our parking lot is located around the corner at 545 Pacific Avenue. The parking lot can sometimes fill up from neighboring businesses, so be sure to arrive early to park and walk around the corner to the front of the building.
Never taken a class before (or at all)?
No worries, our non-pole classes are for every body or visit Start Here to learn more about our beginning pole class offerings.
If you're experienced and visiting our studio and have questions about leveling, email us! You can also review our Class Descriptions and prerequisites.
We do not have a front desk to check in at, just show up and hang out in our waiting area until your teacher invites your class into the space.
We have a limited number of rags, spray bottles, and yoga mats, so we suggest bringing your own.
No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
App & Scheduling
The app is available in any standard app store. Search and download Groovio, and then look for "The Vertitude Santa Rosa"
In the app, you can purchase memberships and packages, book classes, purchase retail items, and more!
Click "Book Now" to navigate to the schedule. You can navigate by month, or select the category of class you are looking for.
To book a series, prior to its start date, select any of the dates for that series, and you will be able to book the entire thing. After the first class in the series has passed, you will only be able to book individual classes in the series. If you are attempting to sign up for the remainder of classes in the series, you will need to book each individually.
Memberships & Packages
General Membership Information
We are now offering monthly memberships! To see the full details of each membership offered, visit the Memberships section in the Groovio app or our Pricing page for more information. Monthly memberships will not only offer discount overall on classes, but have additional discounts and perks associated with each one. You can use memberships to book any type of class at the studio, including Pole Series and Showcase Series.
Membership Payments
Monthly memberships will be charged and activated the day you purchase, unless you choose a start date in the future.
Monthly membership charges come out monthly, on the day of the month you selected for your first payment. The app will automatically understand how many credits you will have at any point in time, and will allow you to book classes months out based on how many credits you have already booked, and how many it understands you will have by that class date.
Membership Cancellation
You are able to initiate a cancellation of your membership directly in the app. Memberships canceled mid-membership period will not be refunded. To cancel a future month, you must initiate a cancellation at least 14 days prior to the next payment date. Initiating the cancellation after 14 days may result in the cancellation not being processed until the following month.
Membership Upgrades/Downgrades
Upgrades and downgrades can only be processed on the studio's end. If you are interested in changing your membership, beginning the next billing cycle, please email us at least 14 days prior to the next payment date and let us know which membership you would like to adjust to.
Non Payment of Membership
If your next month's payment does not process, the app will notify you and provide you with a pay now button, so you can use a different card if necessary. If you show up to a class that was scheduled with a credit that has not yet been paid for, the teacher will prompt you to make the payment to join the class. If you do not correct the payment within 7 days, Groovio will automatically cancel all future bookings made under that membership credit.
Packages
You may also purchase packages separately from a monthly membership, or in conjunction with it. We offer packages for non-pole classes and private lessons. You can read more about them on our Pricing page and purchase them in the Groovio app. Packages have expiration dates.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are set up as a Membership type, where you will be charged in equal payments across 3 or 4 weeks, depending on the length of the series. When you are ready to check out for a series, instead of selecting "Pay Now," select the "More Options" button. The appropriate payment plan for that series will show up (along with monthly membership options). You will receive the first charge immediately, with the following payments beginning at least 7 days later, but as late as the start of the term period (typically the 1st of the month) and recur weekly until the total cost has been satisfied.
Payment plans WILL NOT be an option if you start a series after the first class has already happened.
If you know you will miss a future class and initiate the cancellation prior to the colletcion of the payment associated, Groovio will bank that cancellation and allow you to make a new booking after it has received payment. It will not allow future class bookings prior to receiving payment.
Cancellations & Makeups
Canceling an Entire Series
To receive credit for a full series, it must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to the start of the first class in the series. There are no exceptions to this. This is managed directly in the app, by viewing your bookings, and scrolling to the bottom of the series and selecting "Cancel entire course booking."
Scheduling Makeups for Individual Classes within a Series & One-Off Classes
You must cancel and reschedule makeup classes yourself in the app. Contacting us via phone or email is not counted as initiating a cancellation. To receive cancellation/makeup credit you must cancel in the app at least 6 hours prior to the start of the class. Due to updating this policy to make it more student-friendly, there will be no exceptions made to the 6 hour requirement, even for extenuating circumstances.
If you purchased a one-off class with a membership and cancel that class, it will automatically go back onto your membership.
If you purchased a one-off class with a credit card, the dollar amount paid will be placed in your student wallet. You will see your wallet balance as an option for payment of a class after you select "Pay Now." Wallet balances have no expiration.
If you purchased a series and are cancelling a class in the series, the makeup credit goes on your account under "Packages." Credits for a missed series class must be made up by the last day of the month in which the series occurred. This is a system requirement, and we do not have the ability at this time to extend those credits beyond the end of the month.
If you are canceling a series class purchased with a payment plan, the system will not allow you to use the credit for a class prior to receiving the portion of that payment plan associated with that credit. For example, if you cancel the 4th class of the month, and your 4th payment is not scheduled to happen until the 25th, then you will not have access to book a class with that credit for the 1st through the 24th.
Discount Codes & Gift Cards
Groovio is still working on its automated gift card function. If you are interested in purchasing a gift card, please email us at hello@thevertitudesantarosa.com
If you purchased a gift card when we used Momence, all non-expired discount codes and gift card codes have been transferred to Groovio. In cases where we knew who a gift card belonged to, those amounts were loaded directly into a student's wallet. Where we did not know, it was issued as a discount code for the full gift card amount.
If yours was loaded as a discount code, and the balance of that is greater than the cost of a purchase, you will need to contact hello@thevertitudesantarosa.com to be supplied with a new code for the balance still owed to you on your gift card.
Privates & Parties
Groovio's services feature will roll out mid-January, allowing you to directly book all privates and parties directly in the app.
Please email us prior to then if you are interested in setting up a private lesson or a group party.
Our private rates begin at $130 per hour.
Our group parties begin at $200 per hour for 5 people and increase based on the number of attendees.
